It takes a village. Our village at the St. Joe Bay Humane Society consists, on average, of 50 dogs and 20 cats each month. We’d love for you to join our village with a monthly donation anywhere from $10 to $30, as you are able. The video on our website, sjbhumanesociety.org will give you a bit more information about our efforts for the “in need of care” animals of Gulf County. Your monthly donation helps us to budget for expenses throughout the year. Here are some facts:

Heartworm treatment is $450 per dog.
Basic medical care when entering shelter $70 per dog and $50 per cat
Spay and neuter is $70 to $100 per animal.
Monthly food costs run $1,000 or more.
