About Board Games for the Better

Since 2022 Board Games for the Better has given out 8,096 Board Games and puzzles to:

Children and families in the foster care system
Survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking
Children in long-term psychiatric care
Families experiencing housing insecurity
Rehabilitation Centers
and more!

This year Board Games for the Better started a new program bringing game days to the communities that we serve. With this program we fostered meaningful community engagement, facilitating over 137 hours of immersive game play.

This year, we have provided these game-day services to:

Schools in low-income areas
Assisted living facilities
Memory care facilities
Community events

It's been truly inspiring to witness how remarkably communities come together through board games!

What we're raising money for!

Expanding the gifting program to easily reach people across the country, as well as internationally!
Develop our game day program to reach more communities that are often overlooked.
Growing our team! We are looking to expand our team and volunteer program. We would like to offer volunteer opportunities to schools to provide students with a chance to helps others.
