About Prevent Child Abuse Vermont

PCAVT believes that child abuse is preventable—and that prevention must begin early, with consistent access to education, support, and connection. We offer a broad range of evidence-based and trauma-informed services to families, educators, children, and communities across all 14 counties of Vermont. Programs are delivered in-person, virtually, and in partnership with schools, childcare centers, correctional facilities, and family service agencies. PCAVT programming is also shared nationally through online trainings and published materials.

In 2024, PCAVT served 10,985 individuals and reached over 218,000 children, teens, and adults through direct service and professional development.
