Medical care is the foundation of every rescue story. From routine check-ups to emergency surgeries, the care we provide gives every animal the best chance at a happy, healthy life. Animals like Dolly, Homer, and Gracie have all benefited from your donations, and today they’re thriving in their forever homes.

Dolly's New Beginning

When Dolly, a sweet senior dog, came to us, she was in rough shape—an injured eye, matted fur, and in need of dental work and a spay surgery. Thanks to the incredible support from donors like you, Dolly received the care she needed—and she’s now living a happy life in her forever home. Your donation helps give animals like Dolly a fresh start.

Homer's Second Chance

Homer was surrendered back to our rescue after developing a troubling skin condition in his later years. Our foster team stepped up to provide a safe landing place for him as we worked to investigate what might be causing the lesions. He was finally diagnosed with severe allergies to just about everything: grasses, fungi, tree pollen, and mites. He received a specially formulated allergy medication to help boost his immunity and steroids to temporarily ease the inflammation. After a short while, his condition began to improve and his lesions started to heal!⁠ Today, he’s living with a wonderful family that includes two cat siblings and a mom who’s a vet, able to provide him with the care he needs for life. Your support makes happy endings like Homer’s possible.

Gracie's Family Rescue

Gracie’s story is a perfect example of the lengths we go to in order to help animals in need. Found as a stray in West Virginia, Gracie was pregnant and in desperate need of help. After delivering her 11 puppies at a local shelter, it was clear they needed a safe place to grow up. Without hesitation, PetConnect jumped into action. Thanks to our incredible volunteers, Gracie was transported to a warm and loving foster home in Virginia with her puppies, giving them all a safe place to grow and thrive. Once in our care, we discovered Gracie had multiple medical issues, including a painful elbow injury, a tick-borne illness, and skin infections. Your donations allowed us to provide her with the treatment and healing she needed. Today, Gracie and her puppies are all thriving, thanks to the love and care you help provide.
