THE PEARL FOUNDATION, INC. is a California 501 (c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation established in 2004. The Pearl Foundation, Inc. supports community programs that uplift and empower youth, women and families in Long Beach, Carson, Compton & surrounding areas.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Theta Alpha Omega Chapter is the largest beneficiary of Pearl Foundation resources. Together some of our programs include:

Scholarship Awards and the Pearl Scholar Program to celebrate outstanding student academic achievement;
CHIPP (Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Packs) to help eliminate childhood hunger and food insecurities;
TAO Reads to help improve core literacy skills in grades K-2.
