I'm proud to serve on the Board of Mass Insight Education & Research. The organization does incredible work across the country to transform schools and districts, but I am particularly passionate about an initiative focused here in Massachusetts: the Advanced Placement (AP) STEM & English program. Mass Insight helps high schools across the Commonwealth expand equity and excellence in AP courses. 

The program has helped increase the number of low-income students and students of color who enroll in and succeed in college-level AP classes. Will you join me in celebrating and supporting the teachers who make this success possible?

The annual Partners in Excellence (PIE) Awards Ceremony is an opportunity for Mass Insight to recognize public high school teachers from across Massachusetts who are committed to improving AP access and outcomes. Every year, I am inspired by stories about teachers who "go the extra mile" to help students excel in rigorous courses that may have once seemed out of reach. The event helps raise the funds needed to engage teachers in specialized training that puts more students on a path to college and career success.
