Mass Insight’s Partners in Excellence event is all about celebrating phenomenal teachers!  

Teachers who have gone above and beyond in supporting all students – and particularly students of color and students living with low income – to succeed in demanding Advanced Placement courses in the STEM and English fields.  These courses give students the opportunity to do college level work in high school and often to qualify for college credit.

The most important thing we can do, within schools, to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education is to make sure that every student has fabulous teachers!  Teachers are so important that you would think they would be celebrated early and often, but sadly, that is not the case.  Teachers are rarely celebrated, and even excellent teachers often feel taken for granted.

I’ve had the privilege to lead Mass Insight Education & Research for eight years and Partners in Excellence is a very notable exception!  We dedicate the evening to celebrating 16 talented educators, joined by their families and friends.  The program uplifts their individual contributions, as well as those of all educators.  

I’ve spent my career in education, and I can tell you that recognition of our teachers MATTERS!!
