🎀 The Pink Ribbon Project 🎀

Every strand tells a story — and this one’s about strength, beauty, and community. ✨💗

Hair loss after chemotherapy is more than cosmetic — it’s a reminder of everything cancer takes away. The Pink Ribbon Project is Hairendipity Salon’s way of giving something back — restoring confidence, femininity, and the joy of seeing yourself again in the mirror. 💕

🌸 Our Mission

The Pink Ribbon Project is an annual initiative dedicated to gifting a cancer survivor a fully funded set of luxury hair extensions after chemotherapy treatment. Each year, Hairendipity selects one incredible woman — one story — and one transformation that reminds us what true beauty and community really mean. 🫶💪💕

Our goal is to provide each recipient with:

    •    A full custom set of Hair Extensions:

    • Professional hair extensions are made from 100% human hair, sourced from Chinese and Eastern European regions. Because it’s a finite resource, the hair itself is costly — but it can last up to a year with proper home-care. 💕

    •    One full year of color and extension maintenance:

    • Hair extensions themselves can last up to a year. During that year, they grow out with the natural hair’s growth and must be re-installed closer to the root area every 8-12 weeks. Because of the amount of hair required in a post-chemotherapy restorative extension service, the cost for install can range between $500-775 every 8-12 weeks.

    •    A complete Hairendipity home-care styling system

    • Because hair extensions are not receiving the natural oils from the scalp a proper home care regimen is required to keep them healthy for as long as possible. We hope to maintain extensions for these women until their natural length has been restored underneath!

    •    And most importantly… restored confidence and self-love. ✨

💖 JADE’S TESTIMONIAL 💖

I remember being so terrified to lose my hair. When the clumps grew larger and larger, I finally made the choice to buzz it. For a split second, I felt a little control. I even thought, okay, look at this cute new style.

But then, even that little bit of hair began to fall.

Suddenly, I was bald. And the mirror grew harder to face. You try to show strength, but inside, you don't recognize the person staring back. The camera becomes your enemy.

I remember laying in bed, crying, not wanting to take off the wig or the makeup because without lashes, without hair, I felt like nothing. It sounds silly,l know, I should've just been grateful to still be here. And I was. But my confidence was shaken to its core.

I've come such a long way from those moments, and I'm still moving forward day by day.

This journey was given to me for a reason I'll probably never understand. Maybe to mold me.

Maybe to make me stronger. Maybe to give me a story to tell.

Now, on the other side of treatment, I'm celebrating a huge milestone: restoration.

With the help of a dear friend and an amazing program, I'm getting the chance to not only feel like myself again, but to step into this next chapter with joy and confidence. My new hair will be a visible sign of this new beginning.

This is about honoring the fight, and finally recognizing the woman in the mirror again.

Thank you all for being part of this journey. I can't wait to share the transformation with you.

Here's to new beginnings,

Jadelyn Burke
