2025 Year-End Campaign

As the holidays approach, we reflect on what truly matters—compassion, connection, and community—and the powerful difference your support has made for families in rural Bangladesh.

Through PSDI’s strategic priorities of microloans and education, the number of families served grew from 15,104 in 2023 to 21,249 in 2024, enabling parents to start small businesses and earn steady incomes while giving children the foundation for a brighter future in our 44 primary schools. Every dollar invested delivers significant impact—$6–$17 in social and economic return from microloans and $4–$9 from education—exemplified by Julekha Akter’s family, who transformed their lives with a $727 microloan to buy a rickshaw, providing steady income and access to school and healthcare. This year, we also honor the legacy of our founder, Wm. “Bill” Christensen, whose 35+ years of dedication continue through the Poverty Eradication Program, which has now helped 75,000 families lift themselves out of poverty.
