This fall, People's Theatre Project celebrates 15 years of making theatre with and for our Uptown immigrant community! 

As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we invite you to join us for PTP You & Me, our annual 10-day people-powered campaign to raise full scholarships for the students of the PTP Academy! This year’s scholarship drive will run November 8–17, 2023, with the goal to raise $75,000. This will fully cover scholarships for 30 PTP Academy students!

In the PTP Academy, our incredible students create brave spaces where they grow in self-awareness, self-confidence, self-determination, and practice being inclusive, creative, and collaborative leaders. 

Each year, PTP Academy students:

• Attend weekly classes led by immigrant artists of color
• Participate in workshops with partners like New York Theatre Workshop
• Get connected to important resources and opportunities for their wellbeing
• Explore the city through theatrical excursions
• Meet and chat with speakers including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Karen Olivo, and Nelson Cruz
• Create, produce, and perform original theater in an annual festival 

And to cap it all off, we're celebrating this year's campaign (and PTP's 15th birthday) with our Quinceañera fiesta on Friday, November 17! We invite you to join us for a festive evening with music, dancing, raffle, and delicious food. Make a donation and buy your tickets at the button on the top right of your screen!
