Since 1965, Perinton Ambulance’s mission has been to provide high-quality emergency medical services to the town of Perinton and village of Fairport. Over the years, we have relied on the generosity of people like you to ensure we’re ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

This year, Perinton Ambulance celebrates a remarkable milestone – our 60^th anniversary. To honor this legacy and look forward, we’re inviting our most loyal supporters to join our “60 for 60” initiative, with the goal to raise $60,000 in honor of our 60^th year.

We are the only emergency medical response, treatment, and transport service right here in our community. In 2024 alone, our team received over 6,200 emergency calls, each one a testament to our dedicated team of EMTs and Paramedics. They are the heart of our organization, working tirelessly to provide care during some of the worst days of people’s lives.

But they don't work alone. Every time they answer the call, you ride along as a silent partner, ensuring they have the training, tools, and equipment to bring the emergency room to each patient.

Now we're laying the foundation for the next 60 years. There are several needs vying for attention:

An additional ambulance to support our call volume,
Future replacement of two current ambulances, and
Providing garage space for our growing fleet

These come on top of recent increases in the cost of medication and medical equipment, unknown changes to ambulance billing reimbursements, and anticipated reduction in the availability of state and federal monies. Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping us address these and other expenses associated with preparedness and response whenever we’re needed.

We know there are many worthwhile causes competing for your attention and support. Loyal donors have been a part of our story for many years, and we hope you’ll continue that history of giving by providing us with an anniversary gift during this milestone year.
