Snow Buddy Sled Dog Refuge Fund Raiser

This is an ongoing fundraiser to help with maintenance bills for dogs who don't work in the winter program. These are dogs we bring to the kennel at great expense and who often cannot be adopted. They and we really appreciate the help of our sponsors and monthly pledges towards mounting costs as these dogs age and need more advanced care. The dogs in the refuge population still participate in meet and greet presentations and kids camps, like in the picture here!

Basics maintenance costs per healthy dog in the kennel:

Approximately $3.50/day in dog food per dog = $1,277.50 per dog annually

Approximate Intake costs for a new dog to the kennel (transport and initial vet intake) = $635

Estimated annual preventative care total (vaccines and meds): $400 - $1000 per dog
