Reading has always been one of the great joys of my life. I think back to my third grade teacher, Mrs. Anderson, enthralling us with her reading of Charlotte‘s Web. I loved listening to my daughters read when they were growing up. And now I’m at the point in life where I get to read to my young grandchildren. There is nothing like the feeling of reading books you call your own. I am working to raise funds for Page Ahead to help build home libraries for Washington kids in need.
