Story
Three days of monsoon rains have killed at least 90 people and damaged at least a thousand homes across Pakistan, the country’s national disaster management agency has said.
Streets and homes were flooded with sewage water in Karachi on Tuesday, where the city’s outdated drainage and waste systems were overwhelmed by another spell of heavy rain.
The Cross Connecting Network of Charleston, SC is working closely with Vision for the Kingdom in Pakistan to raise funds to provide clean water, food supplies, and shelter repairs for families devastated by this flooding.
The Cross Connecting Network and Vision for the Kingdom in Pakistan know how to get the resources to the most vulnerable families. Recently they worked together to distribute almost $200,000 of funding to more than 3000 needy families lacking food as a result of COVID.
