Pali Choir

The Palisades Charter High School Choir is made up of four ensembles: AM Choir, Concert Choir, Advanced Choir, and Acapali. Each ensemble focuses on building vocal technique, building musical literacy skills through sight singing, music theory, and performance skills. All of the ensembles perform challenging choral music spanning many genres, historical eras, languages and collaborate with student composers and professional composers on commissions of contemporary choral music. Students from this program have been invited to perform at multiple festivals in Southern California and internationally. The most recent festivals they have participated in are the San Francisco Heritage Festival in 2023 and the Southern California Vocal Association Jazz/A Capella Festival in 2024.

Currently we don't know if anything was damaged or when we will have access to the room. Many of the students saw the choir room as a second home while they were at school. The goal is to make sure we have access to items we would normally use in class and funding for other concerts and music while we are displaced.
