On Saturday, September 6, Pamoza supporters Scott and Trudy Orthey opened their home for a special BBQ fundraiser.

It wasn’t just another cookout — it was a joyful time of community, good food, and making a lasting difference for families in Malawi.

One of the miracles of the day was the weather. Forecasts called for a 99% chance of rain and thunderstorms during the event, but in answer to prayer, not a single drop fell at the Orthey’s home. It was a powerful reminder of God’s provision and faithfulness.

Pamoza International is a Christian non-profit dedicated to uniting people in alleviating suffering and despair through faith-driven outreach and sustainable development. Guided by our CHIEF approach, we focus on transformation in five key areas: Character, Health, Income, Education, and Food security.
