Dear Park Pals Supporter,

Park Pals is a rapidly growing nonprofit organization that focuses on bringing families together for high-quality early-learning education, outdoor exploration, and community engagement. Since our founding earlier this spring, our group has grown to nearly 1,400 members, and our in-person “Pals in the Park” events have directly served hundreds of people in the community.

Shortly after the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Milwaukee-based [non-profit] at which I was the Director of Outreach was forced to eliminate most positions as pandemic-related shutdowns loomed. At the time my son was only a couple months old, and our family decided my transition to being a stay-at-home parent was our best alternative. I, like many other caretakers during this challenging time, found myself feeling isolated, lonely, and grieving, missing out on all of the memorable social experiences that come with raising infants and toddlers. I felt a calling to help bring a community of similarly situated caregivers together while being able to use my training in education, early literacy, and community engagement. Thus, Park Pals was born!

Each month Park Pals hosts a minimum of four Pals in the Park events; a music, movement, and storytime program to foster social and emotional development of toddlers. In addition to offering educational and play opportunities for babies and toddlers, Park Pals serves as a support and resource group to parents that may be seeking supplemental medical and social services in support of their children. We have many more ideas and resource offerings we hope to be able to announce soon!

To date, the program has been a resounding success with dozens of member testimonials attesting to how the program has been beneficial to the health, development, and well-being of children and caretakers alike. With our rapid growth, we are seeking sponsorship from our local community and businesses that will enable the group’s continued success. While I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss your organization’s community goals, we are offering multiple sponsorship recognition opportunities that will allow you to reach a key community demographic, per the attached enclosure.
