Mass Cultural Council funds reach every community in the Commonwealth. This grant signifies that Mattapoisett Museum provides significant public value through its programs and services. Music at the Museum aims to enhance the lives of all people by bringing a diverse collection of musical artists to the museum. Through music, people of different backgrounds can come together as a community to celebrate diversity in music. Music brings the community together in ways other activities can not. Music creates an emotional connection between people, whatever their origins.
