Cape May County Zoological Society

Penguin & Flamingo Habitat Campaign

Today, we are embarking on one of our most ambitious projects yet—bringing Humboldt Penguins and Chilean Flamingos to the Cape May County Park & Zoo through the construction of world-class, naturalistic habitats.

These extraordinary species are not only captivating but also essential ambassadors for global conservation. Humboldt Penguins, native to South America, are threatened by habitat loss and overfishing. Chilean Flamingos depend on fragile wetland ecosystems that are increasingly at risk. By giving these animals, a home at our zoo, we can educate visitors about their importance and foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Your contribution will leave a lasting impact—not just on the Humboldt Penguins and Chilean Flamingos but on the countless visitors who will be inspired by their presence. Together, we can protect these species and strengthen our commitment to conservation for generations to come.

Thank you for helping us achieve this extraordinary vision.
