Founders Classical Academy of Mesquite is presenting The Lightning Thief on Thursday, February 29th at 6:00 pm and Friday, March 1st at 6:00pm.

The Lightning Thief is a musical with music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki and a book by Joe Tracz, based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Rick Riordan.

As a son of Poseidon, Percy Jackson has newly discovered powers he can't control, monsters on his trail, and is on a quest to find Zeus' lightning bolt to prevent a war between the Greek gods. Featuring a thrilling original rock score, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical has an inspiring story of hope and friendship for fans of all ages.
