Please join us for Healing Paws, Happy Hearts, PetPalsNC’s first annual fundraiser! We are excited to host an afternoon filled with live music by Full Tilt, a spirited auction, and the opportunity to meet PetPals handlers and school representatives from participating PetPals schools.

PetPalsNC, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is dedicated to integrating pet therapy into the efforts of special education teachers, learning specialists, educational psychologists, school counselors, social workers, and teachers to enhance the well-being of K-12 students. Our approach provides vital support, aiding students in navigating their educational paths with increased resilience, improved emotional regulation, and a greater sense of connection. Proceeds from the Healing Paws, Happy Hearts Fundraiser will support the recruitment of new certified therapy dog handlers, vital members of the PetPalsNC team. Our organization depends entirely on the dedication of volunteers, and recruiting them involves time, effort, and costs. Your contributions help us expand our volunteer base, ensuring we can continue to bring the benefits of pet therapy to schools in our area. Additionally, funds will be used to develop and enhance training and resources for both involved school staff and pet handlers. Access to resources such as specialized training modules and support materials enables professionals to create engaging and tailored interventions that meet the unique needs of each school and student.
