Supporting Veterans in Humanitarian Aid

Founded by Pete Reed in 2017, GRM exists at the crossroads of two critical needs: medical aid for those impacted by crisis and disaster and transitioning veterans looking to find their place in humanitarian aid. In February 2023, Pete made the ultimate sacrifice in his humanitarian efforts while serving as a paramedic in Ukraine with GoDocs. We mourn his loss every day and simultaneously wish to ensure his incredible legacy perseveres.

The Pete Reed Legacy Fund supports veterans at all levels of GRM. From our field teams, to our leadership, to our administration team – our veteran staff and volunteers bring a deep skill set and problem-solving approach that elevates the overall response capability in international aid.
