Every two years, the Filipino Jaycees of Honolulu (FJCH) organizes an immersion trip to travel to various areas in the Philippines. This 2025, we will be traveling to Manila, Palawan, and Cebu. This unique experience provides the opportunity for our members to reconnect with their Philippine roots, serve local communities, and deepen our understanding of Filipino culture, history, and resilience.

 

By engaging our members through cultural exchange and meaningful reflection, they can reconnect with Filipino culture through hands-on experiences, heritage education, and community service projects. These initiatives reflect the values of service, learning, and leadership.

 

In addition, they can explore professional, entrepreneurial, and environmental initiatives in the Philippines and further contribute to strengthening international ties and partnerships with JCI (Junior Chamber International) chapters and Philippine-based organizations.

 

This trip brings lessons, networks, and inspiration back to Hawaii for future community work, which transforms not just the lives of those we meet — but those who go.
