Welcome to the Phi Delta Theta Puff Bowl!

Welcome to the inaugural Phi Delta Theta Puff Bowl. This bowl is a women’s 7v7
football tournament coached by the brothers of Phi Delta Theta being held to raise funds for
our philanthropy, Live Like Lou.

Live Like Lou is an organization that raises money in hopes of finding a cure for ALS, an illness near and dear to our hearts as former Phi, Lou Gehrig, who had ALS, played a huge hand in spreading awareness of the illness. We hope to raise enough to help Live Like Lou in their mission to support ALS families, fund emerging researchers seeking meaningful treatments and cures for ALS, and help generate awareness of
Lou Gehrig’s disease.

When: December 1, 2023

Start/End: 11 AM - 4 PM

Where: Southwest Rec Fields

Entry Fee: $10.00 per person

Upon sign ups, you and your team will be placed into a bracket with game times throughout the day. Though you are not required to stay for games that are not your own, you’re more than encouraged to stay and support the event. Teams will be a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 10.

About the Live Like Lou Foundation

The Live Like Lou Foundation was established in 2017 as a national nonprofit with a vision to leave ALS better than we found it. Named in honor of MLB Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig, a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Live Like Lou supports ALS families, funds emerging researchers seeking meaningful treatments and cures for ALS, and helps generate awareness of Lou Gehrig’s disease. In the face of his ALS diagnosis, Lou Gehrig continued to live his life with courage, determination, and gratitude... this is what we mean when we say Live Like Lou.
