Philadelphia AMC Awareness

Poe (from Poe’s Sandwich Joint in Northeast Philadelphia and Poe’s Sidepiece each location located with Human Robot Breweries) made a friendly wager last NFL season with Big Charlie’s Saloon (a Kansas City Chiefs Saloon in the heart of South Philadelphia): if the Eagles won the Super Bowl, Poe would get to bartend at Big Charlie’s for a night of his choosing, with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity of his choice.

Welp, we all know how that turned out #GoBirds & Big Charlie’s is honoring the spirit of the bet, and Poe is turning it into a night that gives back.

On August 22nd, 2025, Poe will be guest bartending at Big Charlie’s Saloon, and we’ll be hosting a 50/50 raffle basket giveaway to benefit Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita Support, Inc. (AMCSI)

Join us in Philadelphia as we raise awareness for (AMC) while celebrating what makes each of us unique! AMC affects 1 in every 3,000 people and presents in over 400 variations, yet many medical professionals have little to no knowledge of it.

🚨 Did you know? In the U.S., treatments for AMC often end at age 18, leaving adults with limited care options. In fact, we know of only two doctors nationwide who specialize in treating adults with AMC. It’s time to change the conversation and build a more inclusive future!

All donations go directly to AMCSI (https://amcsupport.org), a tax-exempt, 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to AMC Awareness & helping those with AMC through grants, scholarships, mini-meetups, & the Annual AMCSI Conference.
