April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and it’s time to shine a spotlight on keeping children safe. We know that the first step in preventing child abuse is raising awareness. The possibility that your child, or any child, could be a victim of child abuse is unthinkable.

You can make a difference in your community by joining our efforts! Here are some ways to you can raise awareness and help prevent child abuse:

Participate in the national PINWHEELS FOR PREVENTION campaign. The pinwheels represent that all children deserve happy and healthy childhoods. Plant a “Pinwheel Garden” outside or sell Pinwheels at your place of business to help raise awareness.
Take part in our PENNIES FOR PREVENTION drive by placing a collection jar at your business during April to raise awareness and collect money from community members.
Proudly display our PINWHEEL PLEDGES at your business location. Give your employees and customers the opportunity to buy a $1.00 paper pinwheel to pledge that they believe all children deserve healthy and happy childhoods.
Host DRESS DOWN DAYS during April and donate proceeds to the Child Advocacy Center.

Circle of Support Child Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization that minimizes additional trauma to victims by providing specialized services and support to children and families affected by abuse. All proceeds raised from our April events will support the continuation of these services, which empower victims to begin their journey of healing.
