Project Impact MS is revolutionizing how the state of Mississippi supports its scholars in the 21st Century. For #GivingTuesday 2021, your gift will support the resiliency, character, and leadership we’re building in the state’s most under-served but deserving youth.

Now, more than ever before, scholars are struggling INSIDE the classroom from issues stemming from OUTSIDE the classroom. With the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbating any previous challenges youth may have faced with adolescence, our scholars need support that speaks to their specific needs. Social-emotional learning programming helps students in this way, and Project Impact MS is providing a tool to help scholars and their schools meet the emotional needs of Mississippi’s youth — with +SELF!

It stands for positive social emotional learning fundamentals.

This program will help students identify and navigate their emotions, which will help keep them on track, building back up their resiliency and strengthening their character. All to keep them in school, out of trouble and on track toward successful matriculation and graduation.

Your gift this #GivingTuesday will also help prepare teachers, counselors and administrators to understand the social and emotional needs of their students and empower them to support their students’ emotional intelligence and academic achievement.
