Post Prom 2025

Washburn Rural High School’s Blues Backers are eagerly preparing for the 38th annual Post Prom. This beloved event thrives year after year, thanks to the generous contributions from local businesses and families, supplementing the primary PTO funding and countless hours from dedicated volunteers. While the celebration takes place after the WRHS Prom, it is also open to students who do not attend prom. This event provides a safe, substance-free, and thrilling late-night experience at the high school, where students can come together to enjoy games, food, and prizes while participating in a shared celebration.

Recognizing that today’s teens will be tomorrow’s consumers, we invite you to contribute in a way that suits you best. We welcome stock items, products, services, raffle prizes, promotional discounts, and gift cards. All donors will receive acknowledgment on our website and in our newsletter. Additionally, we offer $200 sponsorships, allowing businesses to sponsor activities and have their name prominently displayed at the event or, for a little more, put your ad on t-shirts or goodie bags. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation may be tax-deductible so consult your tax advisor.
