On behalf of Greenfield Public Library Foundation, I would like to thank you for the recent gift.

The new library has already made a significant difference in our community. In the year since its opening, visits have increased by 264%, computer usage is up by 394%, requests for tech assistance have risen by 170%, and program attendance has grown by 270%. Additionally, our new study and meeting rooms have hosted over 2,600 people, and the laptop lending machine has been used more than 1,300 times. The library is truly becoming a central hub of activity!

We are pleased to share we recently completed our commitment to the community to reduce the taxpayer cost of the new library building project; the Foundation has given the city of Greenfield $2-million. We are continuing to raise funds in order to help the staff and trustees anticipate and meet financial needs that are not funded by city's Library budget.
