Pretty Kitty is a 8 year old cat that has been fed in a feral colony for years. Hard to remember how long.. maybe 4-5 years in the Menlo Park area.

She used to be loved by a family in the neighborhood, until they moved and left her behind. She fended for herself and found her way to our feeding station. She presented as feral but enjoyed our visits. Often getting under foot, scanning our legs but if we tried to touch her.. well watch out. She was having NONE of it.

Over the last few months, we noticed a wound by her eye that was not healing. As it became worse, we knew she needed to see a a vet. After a week of attempting to trap her, she was finally secured and seen by a vet.

Her "wound" turned out to be a growth that needs to be removed. Once removed, we will send it out to the lab to see if cancerous or benign. A foster has been secured and she will be able to recover indoors and with any luck decides she likes the indoor life so she will not have to return back outside.

Her surgery and overnight stay at the vet is pricey. Attached is the estimate. Will you help us get her the medical she needs?

She is beloved by her feeders and we just want to give her the best care. She has had a difficult life and with any luck the future will be brighter for her.
