Prevail with Us!

Each year, nearly 300 survivors, toddlers, teens, parents, and grandparents walk through our doors carrying the weight of someone else’s choices. Most often, that “someone” is a person they once trusted.

At Prevail Illinois, we walk beside them as they begin to rebuild, helping them rediscover their strength, their voice, and their worth. We remind them of the rights they have in the courtroom, the classroom, and the workplace. Whether it’s sitting beside them in a hospital or kneeling beside a child, finding comfort in play, we show up every time, with compassion and without judgment.

And over and over again, we witness something powerful. Survivors rise just like the sun in our logo, refusing to let the darkness of someone else’s harm define who they are.

That hope continues to grow through our schools and community partnerships. Across our nine-county region, educators regularly invite our prevention team into classrooms to teach about boundaries, safe touch, and trusted adults. A new generation is learning that they deserve safety and respect and that if harm ever happens, they can speak up, be believed, and get help.

And every counseling session, hospital response, and prevention program is offered completely FREE to survivors and the community.
