Pride Frisco Donation

Pride Frisco is the first and only 501(c)3 nonprofit resource organization in Frisco, Texas that supports LGBTQIA+ individuals through inclusive and affirming social and educational events, scholarships, professional resources, and strategic partnerships with supportive organizations.

Our vision is to establish a Pride Center that provides life-saving resources and resource-coordination for the LGBTQIA+ community in Frisco and North Texas by connecting people with trusted resources to address the emergent and sustaining needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Frisco, Texas is the fastest-growing large city in the United States according to a 2020 analysis from the Census Bureau (over 71% population growth between 2010 and 2020 with an estimated population of 220,000 for 2022). 30% of our population is under 18 years of age, and over 50% are parents. There are over 66,000 students in Frisco ISD. A 2022 Gallup poll stated that 1 in 5 from the Gen Z population identifies as LGBTQIA+. While Frisco is ethnically diverse and economically vibrant with corporate relocations and a strong workforce, it lacks meaningful support for the LGBTQIA+ community, especially when it comes to youth and their families. Pride Frisco was founded to fill this unmet need in our community and the surrounding area.

Pride Frisco is a volunteer-based organization with no paid staff. We depend upon financial donations from generous individuals and businesses to bring vital resources, social and educational events to serve the unique needs of our community. Beyond in-kind cash contributions, we fund our operations by fundraising through selling branded and unbranded pride merchandize.

Pride Frisco provides programs at no or low cost to participants because we know that access to high-quality, affirming LGBTQIA+ programming can be burdensome to families of LGBT+ individuals. Pride Frisco-hosted events are open to everyone, except where restrictions apply for age appropriateness, safety, and/or privacy reasons.

Your donation will be used to fund our operations and programs that provide LGBTQIA+ visibility, awareness, resources, and support to an underserved community with critical unmet needs in the fastest-growing urban area in the country.
