Celebrate Pride with Kids' Voice at the Indy Pride Parade – Saturday, June 14

At Kids' Voice, we believe that LGBTQ+ youth deserve safe, affirming support – especially from trusted adults. LGBTQ+ youth are 3.8 times more likely to experience childhood sexual abuse, 1.2 times more likely to be physically abused by a caregiver, and 2.5 times more likely to enter foster care (Casey.org, HHS.gov, Fish et al., 2019). In our Educational Liaison Program, we see firsthand how stigma, victimization, and rejection can lead to school challenges like suspensions, poor academic performance, and isolation. We believe all young people deserve to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

Join Kids’ Voice as we walk in the Indy Pride Parade to celebrate LGBTQ+ youth and the community we serve.

🍩 8 – 8:30 a.m. | Pride Celebration Breakfast in the Kids' Voice Office (615 N. Alabama St., Suite 240)

🚶‍♀️ 9 a.m. | Walk from the Kids' Voice Office to the parade load-up side (Zone B10)

🥳 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Pride Parade Fun!

👕 Need a Kids' Voice shirt? Pick one up at the office before we walk to the load-up site.

🌟 Can't make breakfast? No problem, meet us at the load-up (Zone B10) site at 9:00 a.m.

🏳️‍🌈 Open to Kids' Voice staff, Volunteer Advocates, Board of Directors, Young Professionals Board, and your family and friends!
