I'm excited to join Photography Inspiring Children in Conservation to support work in primate habitat communities worldwide and to support people in developing primate conservation capacity in their own communities.
I have joined the team and will be participating as a volunteer conservation educator in East Africa this summer through the PICC voluntourism component. We are planning sessions for the staff and students at programs Rafiki, BACHO-K, and in Rwanda near the mountain gorilla habitat, to introduce and expand on the students' knowledge and skills in art, photography, and conservation.
