I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, obtained certification as a Veterinary Assistant, and worked with animals for over 12 years, so there is no denying my love for them. Animals, in my opinion, are God’s greatest creation; they love unconditionally, are devoted to their human(s), bring joy to our lives, and reduce our stress and anxiety just by being. However, there are people who do not feel this way nor reciprocate that behavior towards animals. Because of this, the animals are left abused, homeless, frightened, and neglected. If they do not end up dying on the streets or by the hands of cold-hearted individual(s), they end up in animal shelters. They’re alone and scared, surrounded by walls and people unfamiliar to them. I am fundraising for Project P.A.W because I want to make their stay, no matter how short or long, comfortable. I want to ensure they have toys to play with, blankets to snuggle up in, fresh food in their bowls and fresh litter in the cat boxes. I want to ease the stress and worry of the staff’s by providing them the resources they need to properly care and provide for these animals. Please help me in doing this through donations of either money or supplies. Whether it’s $1 or $100, one can of food or multiple cases of canned food, you’re making a difference.
