10 YEARS OLD, INTERMEDIATE BELT (PURPLE)
Ronin Geday has been trained in traditional Shotokan karate, with infusions of Machida Karate. Trained primarily by his father according to rigorous Budo principles, his martial arts lineage comes from Master Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke (10th dan, SKIF) and Master Teruyuki Okazaki (10th dan, ISKF). Ronin has also had the privilege of training directly with some of the most prestigious and impactful karate Masters from around the world, including: Yoshizo Machida (8th dan, JKA), Nobuaki Kanazawa (8th dan, SKIF), Manabu Murakami (8th dan, SKIF), Tatsuya Naka (7th dan, JKA), Fumitoshi Kanazawa (6th dan, JKA), Chinzo Machida (6th dan, JKA; Founder, Machida Karate), and Keisuke Nemoto (6th dan, JKA).
Competitively, Ronin is a gold and silver medalist in the World Martial Arts Games (2023) as a member of Team USA, and has collected many similar medals in both Kata and Kumite over the course of regional tournaments over the past few years. He is also a highly competitive athlete in lacrosse, playing for travel leagues which have won multiple championship banners. A straight-A student, he is especially motivated in STEM fields, with ambitions of becoming a robotics engineer and eventually starting and owning a robotics company someday.
