Welcome to my page, and taking the time to read through and get to know more about myself and my goals as the Youth Recreational Program Manager!
A little introduction about myself. I've been coaching for about seven years, coaching a wide variety of groups such as adults, high schoolers, collegiate, and youth/middle school athletes. Aside from coaching, I also manage the Youth Rec programs and part of my goal as the Youth Rec Manager is to not only keep the classes running, but to also make a difference to our current and upcoming youth athletes who can make a difference, while also changing the structure of rowing to be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive in the Boston and Cambridge communities.
As a coach who has worked with youth athletes for several years, I always have found enjoyment working with Youth Recreational athletes at CRI because of their curiosity in trying out a challenging sport, but their ability to work through the challenges while also creating a strong bond between other athletes and coaches.
In addition, Rowing changes lives, and all the Youth Rec athletes that I've worked with possess the drive, character, and ability to work with teammates in a fast paced but exciting environment, which in result, has made them more focused, confident, and efficient leaders outside the boathouse.
Every donation makes a difference to our Youth Rec program (and other programs too!), and it would mean a lot to me and the CRI community if you have an interest making a donation so that we can provide more resources, coaches, and future opportunities for your athlete(s) and help them become the next generation of rowers willing to make a difference!
