Running a small, community-centered food co-op—especially in rural New England—is no easy task. We have made great strides in the past year towards increased financial stability, including careful buying, cutting costs and increasing community engagement with pop-ups and events. However, the Co-op still needs additional financial support from its members and customers that extends beyond shopping.

When we first join the Co-op, we become member-owners by making a one-time financial commitment. But for many of us, that was years—maybe even decades—ago. To truly sustain the Co-op for years to come, we need a financial model that includes ongoing support.
