Inspiration Performing Arts Company, Advanced Production and Design, Fantasy Factory, and Simons Theatrical Costumes have teamed up to bring you a performing arts experience in the comfort and safety of your own homes!
Date/Times:
There's No Place Like Theater At Home: The Wizard of Oz, will stream at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm on January 1, 2021! Start the New Year off with a family fun theatrical production unlike anything you have ever seen before.
Tickets:
Tickets are donation based. We want to make this experience accessible to all regardless of financial position. Any donation big or small will help us cover the costs to put this experience on for you. Help us keep the arts alive with your generosity towards this project.
COVID-19 Safety Procedures:
"The Wizard of Oz" production was filmed in the Advanced Production and Design Studio in the beginning of November and will be streamed in January in accordance with Concord Theatrical Productions. The project followed all Rhode Island COVID-19 safety guidelines and restrictions including incorporating masks into the performance, frequent sanitations, COVID testing requirements for cast and crew (thanks to PixelLabCorps), symptom and temperature tests, and contact tracing. Due to these safety measures, there were successfully no COVID breakouts or issues throughout the completion of the project.
Inspiration was granted Non-Profit status in May of 2019 shortly after it's first special needs performance. We are in the process of waiting for our 501c3 status and will be able to expand on some of our programs once we reach that exciting milestone. Inspiration plans to produce many more productions and launch new performing arts programs to help benefit those in our community who can use theater as an outlet and develop new skills to help in their daily lives.
