The Heart of Nolan Project

Created in loving memory of Dorthea Rhea (Mamaw), whose kindness, generosity, and love for family were felt by everyone who knew her. Mamaw believed deeply in showing up for others, especially during hard seasons, and this project reflects the heart she lived with every day.

The Heart of Nolan Project was created to support families with children in the hospital by providing meals, gas gift cards, and small comforts during long and difficult stays.

Over the past four years, Nolan has spent many months hospitalized at Texas Children’s Hospital. During those seasons, our family experienced firsthand how emotionally overwhelming and financially heavy long hospital stays can be. When you’re living at the hospital, everyday needs like food and gas quickly add up, making an already difficult time even harder.

This fund is a simple, family-led way to help ease that burden — offering comfort, relief, and a reminder that families are not alone during some of their hardest days.
