The Fund for Queen City Scholars

What began as a Charlotte expansion of Delaware College Scholars is now Queen City Scholars—a powerful, place-based college access program rooted right here in Charlotte. In honor of our founding Board Chair, Paul H. Harrell, Jr., this fund supports high-achieving, first-generation students from Charlotte as they prepare for and succeed in college.

With our core summer residential experience now hosted in Charlotte, QCS ensures that opportunity doesn’t require leaving town—it starts here, and it stays here.
