We are a rag-tag group of Hampton Roads folks new to navigating this political and social revolution through the practice of community building and sustainability. In an effort to divest away from systems of struggle and towards the support of our found families, we've established our own localized Mutual Aid Fund - divided among emergent and non-emergent needs.

$3000 of this fund will be deligated towards emergent community member needs. From strenuous debt repayments, monthly rent, tight or unexpected bills, to food for the week, we have folks in need of extra support.

The remaining $500 will be reserved for deligated non-emergent community support, with this month's focus being our Paints for People fund.

The Paints for the Peoples fund works to supply and share costs for political art-making. This fund will be dipped into for art supplies, stickers, snacks and drinks provided at protests, and other small-scale costs that arise in our continual goal towards liberation. 

By donating towards this fund - among a variety of other modes of support - we strengthen our goal and conviction that we, not the state, billionaries, or our exploitative "jobs," take care of each other.

Transparency about what donations are used for will be available upon request and to the degree that it does not divulge sensitive information.
