The Locust Point Community Garden was started in 2018 on a vacant lot owned by Under Armour. It provided a space for residents to come together, grow their own food, and learn about the importance of environmental stewardship. UA has decided to close the garden leaving our over 100 gardeners without a garden. The great news is that Baltimore City has decided to provide space at Latrobe Park for the garden to be reborn. To make this happen, the community to needs to pay for water lines, fencing, and new planter boxes, etc. Unfortunately, money does not grow on pepper plants, your help and support are vital.
