Funds will fuel the inaugural phase of developing an interactive visualization and reporting tool, The Rainmaker App, aimed at not only bridging the gap between our supporters and the communities we serve but also nurturing a virtual community of Rainmakers poised to expand our collective capacity to serve more families in Mexico.

The Rainmaker app integrates monitoring and evaluation capabilities, providing more immediate reporting on rainwater harvesting initiatives and programs, and facilitates community engagement among supporters dedicated to sustainable water access in the US and Canada.

With your support, we will develop a system designed to monitor and evaluate data, enabling us to continuously improve our follow-up capabilities of each system installed and better measure its impact on families served. We understand that the effectiveness of our work hinges on our ability to engage rainwater harvesting system users and ensure that every rainwater harvesting system installed serves its purpose optimally.

This tool is not merely a means to enhance operations; it represents the first step towards expanding the impact and efficiency of our work even further. This platform will empower us to make better-informed decisions and drive more meaningful change by facilitating communication with supporters like you and providing valuable insights.

At Isla Urbana USA we see ourselves as a bridge between donors, partners, and volunteers in the U.S. and the work our partner, Isla Urbana (Lluvia para Todos), does in Mexico. In that, we focus on supporting clean water efforts in rural and urban areas throughout Mexico through purposeful relationships with supporters while also developing leadership programs for US students.

We're not just about installations; we're about collaboration. Our work is focused on rural, often overlooked communities, such as the indigenous communities in Oaxaca, Jalisco, and Chihuahua. We don't just deliver water; we cultivate long-term water management strategies that use rainwater and other appropriate water technologies to support communities in moving towards a more sustainable and autonomous reality.
