What kind of class is this?
- This is a class that uses Megaformer machine (often seen in Pilates classes). The Lagree Method builds on concepts of Pilates and is a low-impact, high-intensity workout. You can learn more about this type of class here.
Is this class beginner friendly?
- Yes. The instructor is doing this class specifically for Girls in the Game supporters, so they know that this will be many attendees' first time. The instructor will guide attendees through using the Megaformer machine and provide modifications throughout the class. That said, the class will be challenging, so come ready to tackle the challenge! We are in this together.
What time should I arrive?
- We ask that you please arrive by 1:45 PM to ensure that you have enough time to get your machine set up. Class will start promptly at 2:00 PM.
How long will the class be?
- The class will be 45 minutes long--from 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm.
What should I bring?
- Please wear athletic attire that will allow you to move freely during class and be sure to bring a water bottle. You will also need to wear socks. Grip socks are highly recommended to prevent slipping. Grip socks can be purchased online or in the studio the day of for $14.
Do I need to fill out a waiver?
- Yes, you will need to fill out a waiver through Resistance Lagree's website. This waiver will be sent to attendees closer to the class, but you can get a head start by clicking here and making an account through Mind Body.
Is parking available?
- There is limited metered parking on Milwaukee Ave. and along the L tracks near the studio. The area can be very busy on a Saturday, so we suggest giving yourself ample time for parking or using public transportation.
