For 20 years, Quinteto Latino has been championing Latino voices in classical music—advocating for lifting up the lives of our students, mentees, and composers who continue to be overlooked and underestimated.

Today, national support for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts is quickly disappearing, and the funding that once uplifted Latino classical music is under attack.. This is why we must build our own movement—one that is community-driven, resilient, and locally rooted.

Our Mission: 20 Years of Impact & What’s at Stake

Since our first performance, Quinteto Latino has been reshaping classical music with:

Advocacy – Elevating the voices of Latino and musicians of color in the field.
Education – Bringing music education to under-resourced Latino communities and schools.
Performance – Showcasing underheard Latino and Latin American composers through our conservatory-trained ensemble.

For two decades, we’ve proven what’s possible. But the question isn’t about looking back.

The question is: Will we be able to continue this work for the next 20 years?
