About Kids Got Rights
We are creating a groundbreaking documentary-animation hybrid that addresses child abuse and exploitation through real-world interviews and dynamic animation, aiming to educate, empower, and protect the next generation and initiate a worldwide movement to transform lives.
We will focus on subjects such as Child Labor, Sexual Abuse, Physical Abuse, Housing Rights, and Freedoms of Speech. We will split the film into five parts, each 12 minutes long, so that teachers can use it in a classroom. Additionally, we will produce numerous two—to three-minute snippet excerpts for easy social media distribution.
Recognizing the diverse linguistic needs of our global audience, animation translations will be made available in multiple languages. This ensures that libraries and schools worldwide can access and utilize the animation project for educational purposes.
We strive to collaborate with individuals, companies, non-profit organizations, and grant-makers who share our goal of educating children worldwide about their human rights.
We will present engaging live interviews with children from various socio-economic backgrounds worldwide, showcasing responses from innocent to sophisticated, offering insight into their minds. Afterwards, five inspiring animations, including stop-motion, will appear to empower and uplift kids to overcome abuse.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 1 billion children experience some form of violence each year, which encompasses physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect. With 70-85% knowing their abuser. In Pakistan, over 11 million children under 11 are laborers. Today in the U.S.A., major corporations in the food production industry hire kids under 13 years old. The UK reports that 1 in 200 adults is a pedophile, with over 16,000 child abuse cases recorded in England in 2012. You can help us give children the tools to know what abuse is, what their rights are, and what they can do to protect themselves.
Our Mission
We are committed to igniting a global revolution in human rights awareness, ensuring that every child, in every corner of the world, not only knows but deeply understands their inherent rights. The potential for transformative impact is colossal and unstoppable.
