As the holiday season approaches, we are reminded of the importance of community, love, and acceptance. Throughout the year, Q Plus has the unique opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most. We invite you to join us in spreading joy and love to queer youth who face immense challenges, especially during the holidays.

For many young people in the LGBTQ+ community, the holiday season can be a time of isolation and fear. Rejection by family members, discrimination, and a lack of safe spaces can lead to emotional distress and mental health struggles. But with your support, we can ensure our young folks know they are not alone, that they are loved, and that they have a community to lean on.

This year, we are launching a special holigay campaign with a goal of raising $3,000 between November 25th and January 2nd for essential programs that provide:

Community Building: We organize regular social events, leadership opportunities, and safe spaces where young people can discover themselves, build friendships, and thrive.
Mental Health Support: Many of our social events are paired with the option of seeking support, as well as providing support groups for the parents and caregivers of queer youth.
Education & Advocacy: Q Plus regularly supplies resources to empower queer youth with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed and advocate for themselves. This school year, we're hosting three Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) summits to help youth leaders build skills and toolboxes to navigate their futures and advocate for themselves and their communities.

Sign up for a monthly recurring donation of $25 or more and receive a pin designed in-house by our very own content creator and artist! Past pins include the Capy-bi-ra and Binx the cat (with their rainbow pumpkin!); November's pin is the Les-bee-an and December's pin is the Pan-guin! All are great gifts for the holigay season, and each month you'll receive a new pin.

We are excited to reach our $3,000 goal, but we can’t do it without you! Your donation will help fund critical services that make a real difference in the lives of queer youth.
