Anajah (SEED DC ’26)

Anajah (SEED DC ’26) has been busy this year. She is applying to schools such as Hampton University and Temple University, where she plans to study education and become an elementary school teacher. She shares why SEED's unique culture is the foundation of her drive and success: "My favorite thing about SEED is the culture: the people, being in the dorms, the sports, the basketball nights—it's fun and a good way to spend my time after school. Everyone is loving and caring—especially the staff; they want to see you shine and succeed.”

Jeannette (SEED MD ’26)

Next year, Jeannette (SEED MD ’26) plans to start her college journey and earn a degree in psychology, motivated by the desire to support a new generation of students. She sees herself mirroring the critical guidance she received from SEED MD’s mental health manager: "Dr. Footman inspired me; she actually understands students and tries to meet us on our level.”

Jeannette also credits the supportive and engaging environment at SEED for her growth: "SEED is different from other schools; we get to learn new things, see new people, and try out so many different activities... I feel challenged every day here. It has pushed me, and I've done really well."

Ridwanulah (SEED MD ’26)

Every dollar you give will pay for college costs for students such as Ridwanulah (SEED MD ’26) is a student who sets goals and achieves them. He is striving to become valedictorian of his class before heading off to the University of Maryland to study mechanical engineering. Ridwanulah has a clear plan: "I've seen what the IT field is capable of with AI and robotics from our Cyberlab, so I know it's the right choice."

Rebecca (SEEED Miami ’26)

At SEED, Rebecca (SEED Miami ’26) has discovered her biggest dreams. Rebecca's career path became clear after a field trip, where she had her "aha moment": "I went to a women and aviation event at Opa Locka Executive Airport, and it was life changing. I spoke to air traffic controllers and commercial pilots and navy pilots about their job... I researched more into it and then I decided, 'I want to be a pilot.' I would like to go to Bowling Green.”
