Katie Haverluk's Story

I started rowing for Capital in 2001 as a novice my Junior year of high school. I rowed for two years, then move on to Cal where I was recruited to the Women’s Crew Team. After college I moved to Washington DC, then abroad where I started my family. Upon returning to the Sacramento area, I returned to Capital and rowing, where I am now the Head Boys Coach. Everyday on Lake Natoma is magical, and being able to help foster a new generation of rowers is a great privilege.
